Professional/Personal Highlights: Joe fishes the pro musky and professional walleye tours in addition to guiding in Wisconsin's famous Vilas County and owning Cave Run Lodging in Morehead, Kentucky. He took 6th place in the 2005 FLW Professional Walleye Tour-Devils Lake. All tournament anglers are gamblers in one way or another and Joe is no exception. He took 8th in a 2011, Lake Oahe, FLW tournament. Going for a win, Joe threw a "big one" back to take his chances at hooking into a bigger one. With just five minutes to go, Joe hooked and lost the fish he was looking for, and saw his hopes of a win swim away. A dentist by trade, he donates time to the Ronald McDonald House, providing dental care for the poor. But does Joe know musky fishing? He is a seven-time Pro Musky Tournament Trail qualifier and the only six-time champion. Another "only" is that Joe is the only individual who has qualified for every PMTT Musky Championship Tournament. Whether Joe knows musky fishing seems like a silly question in retrospect, now doesn't it?
