Professional/Personal Highlights: Mike, or "Dank," as he is called, is a teacher of environmental classes as well as a professional guide. Students and clients are encouraged to understand what he calls "the whole picture" when it comes to fishing. "It's more than just catching fish. We should appreciate what nature is giving us and take care of that gift." Dank has edited two books (From The Musky Guide's Boat "My Way" and Big Muskies And More "My Muskie Heaven"), written a few articles, done an occasional seminar and even had a lure named after him. Dank says it's a tough job spending all summer in Canada working on his cabin and putting St. Croix rods through their paces. We'll bet that Dank is glad to get back to Wisconsin come autumn; we've got plenty of cheese to go with that whine.
