Professional/Personal Highlights: Rob was the 2005 FLW Walleye Tour Champion on the Mississippi River in the Quad Cities area. Earlier honors included being a member of the Walleye Anglers Trail Team of the Year in 2000. He "continued to rock" in 2009, finishing 1st in Green Bay and 2nd in Winnebago, both events being FLW league tournaments. Rob has excelled in other areas, as well. He has taken home trophies for National Canoe races, trap shooting, pool and bike racing. Ask Rob about the time he became the first person to go over one hundred miles per hour in a 4WD Jeep CJ5 in just 1/8th mile ON ICE! Those trophies have their place on shelves in his home but Rob's wall is adorned with two brown trout mounts; one male and one female; both eight pounds or so; caught exactly one year apart on Mother's Day. Rob and his wife have fished the Mississippi Walleye Club Tournament, Walleye Angler's Trail, Master's Walleye Circuit and Cabela's National Tournament. That last statement kind of gives away Rob's secret of how to keep the missus happy and catch trout on Mother's Day, now doesn't it?
