Professional/Personal Highlights: Winning the RCL Big Stone Tournament was gratifying for Steve. Add to that 2nd place in the RCL Minnesota League and four top-ten finishes in walleye tournaments in 2004 and it is evident that Steve knows walleye fishing. But, if you need more evidence, how about the 2007 win in the PWT Mille Lacs event? A mechanical engineer and author/lecturer, Steve takes his work and his fishing seriously. And he often takes his boat to Ottertail, Gull Lakes or Mille Lacs. Speaking of which, he notched an MTT win on Mille Lacs in 2008. When it comes to narrower water, Steve likes the Rainy and Mississippi rivers. The "Big Muddy" is not as big nor as muddy in Minnesota. Just the same, many of its fish have experienced catch-and-release with Steve running the rod and reel.
