Cloudy evening around 7:00pm on Sept 18, 2010 fishing with a spinner bait that my son makes (1 hook). In the weeds about 10 ft down I thought I had a snag, the snag moved. The fight was on. She came up and rolled, went under the motor and was on the other side of the boat. I pretty much did a lot of yelling that I was going to lose her. My son had never netted a musky before, he reached way out and way down and got her. He said he knew he would never hear the end of it if he lost her. What a team. It's so nice to fish with my son, have him be there and be a part of such a fun and crazy catch. To the best of my knowledge she was 46". Oh and word to wise, try to remember to wear your glove when picking up your musky or you may cut your finger.
