I was having a contest with my mother who is on your Pro Staff (Debbie Davis). She was using a 7'6" Legend Tournament rod and a depth raider. I was using my St Croix rod and my homemade lure when "bamm" I got her. She went around the boat but we finally landed her. She had beautiful markings and was a great fight. I love St Croix rods, they hold up to the test even with the BIG GIRLS. Oh and did I mention that it was a great day catching a Tiger Musky 42" and being able to call my mother "net girl". She wasn't as fortunate as me that day!
